Mary’s 2.6 Miler
Knocked out a quick 2.6 miles today. It took about 25 minutes, but that’s a bit deceiving. There were a lot of hills. The thing that’s tricky about this run is it’s basically a straight decline for the first half, and then I turn around and track back to complete the run. So the second half of the run is straight uphill, with no break. It’s intense. I was basically walk-jogging towards the end of it, heh, heh. But the run overall felt really good. I feel like I’m in pretty good shape. If I was running on flats (or at least on hills that were a bit more spread out), I’d be knocking it out of the ball park.
Though it would be nice to knock it out of the ballpark even with a mile of straight uphill, but that’s all in due time, my friends.
