Just Under.

This morning I went for a jog with the boyfriend. We ran just under 2 miles and finished in just under 18 minutes….which means our pacing was just under 10 minute miles. 

Good enough for me. I’m not really in the “push it hard” mode just yet, since my foot is still being pesky. It’s really nothing I can’t push through, but I’m concerned about the long-term repercussions of running too much on an injury like mine. A lot of what I read about tendonitis and its affects scares me. Since we were running on hills today, I didn’t want to push it, but once I’m back on flatter turf, maybe I’ll go a little harder.

BTW - after the run I did 60 situps (straight on, left and right.. 20-20-20) and then 20 pushups in a row (no breaks). 

Overall it was a largely mediocre workout, but enough to maintain. I’ll take it.
