Annie’s cross training day

Well kids it is Tuesday and you know what that means…cross training day…well after my running yesterday I thought I would try and do something totally different…swimming.  I used to swim all the time growing up and really got into it senior year in college where I was swimming 4 times a week.  I was a swimming champ…ya then I stopped and today I remembered a- how much I love swimming, everything about it and b- how amazing a workout it is.  Now I just swam laps, nothing special, I did throw in some just leg laps by using a kick board and just arms by using a pully on my legs…But let me tell you, I am soooo out of swimming shape and tonight, part of my body hurt that haven’t in a very long time.

Moral of the story….swimming will now become my cross training routine, I love it!
